Carpet holds onto everything a vacuum can't reach — dust worked deep into the pile, general foot-traffic wear, and the gradual dulling that makes a colour look tired long before the carpet is actually old. Carpet cleaning is a deeper treatment than a standard vacuum, aimed at lifting that build-up rather than just what sits on the surface.

It's booked by homeowners refreshing a living room or bedroom carpet, landlords and tenants around an end-of-tenancy clean where carpet condition is often part of the deposit conversation, and businesses maintaining communal carpeted areas. In every case, the approach is the same: a thorough treatment of the full carpeted area, not a spot-clean of the parts that show.

Results depend on the carpet's age, fibre type and how long it's been since its last proper clean — we're upfront about what a treatment can realistically achieve, rather than promising a specific outcome sight unseen.

Why MirroClean

What stays consistent, visit to visit

The whole carpet, not just what shows

We treat the full carpeted area rather than spot-cleaning the parts that are visibly marked.

Honest about outcomes

We won't promise every stain will lift completely — results depend on the carpet's age, fibre and history, and we'll say so before starting.

Works alongside other services

Often booked together with end-of-tenancy cleaning, upholstery cleaning, or as part of a move-out visit.

Careful around furniture

Light repositioning where needed, without moving heavy or fragile items unnecessarily.

Service options

However often you need it

One-off treatment

A single deep clean, typically booked annually or before a specific event such as a move or inspection.

Paired with another visit

Often added to an end-of-tenancy, move-out or deep cleaning booking for the same property.

Pricing

A price based on your property, not a flat rate

Pricing depends on the number of rooms, total carpeted area, and the current condition of the carpet. Request a quote and we'll confirm a price before booking.

FAQ

Questions worth asking before you book

Will carpet cleaning remove all stains?

Not always. Older or set-in stains may lighten rather than disappear completely, depending on the fibre type and how long the stain has been there. We'll be upfront about what's realistic for your specific carpet before starting.

How long does the carpet take to dry afterwards?

Drying time varies with the method used, room ventilation and carpet thickness, but it's sensible to expect the carpet to feel slightly damp for several hours afterwards. We'll advise on timing so you can plan around it.

Do I need to move furniture before the visit?

Light furniture is worked around, and we can reposition smaller items as part of the visit. Heavier furniture is best cleared in advance if you'd like the carpet underneath treated.

Is carpet cleaning included in an end-of-tenancy clean?

It's available as an add-on to end-of-tenancy cleaning rather than included as standard, since not every property has carpet or needs it treated. Mention it when requesting your quote.

Can you clean rugs as well as fitted carpet?

Yes, rugs can be added to the same visit. Let us know the size and material when booking.

How often should carpets be professionally cleaned?

Roughly once a year for an average household is common, though homes with pets, children or higher foot traffic may benefit from more frequent treatment.

Do you use steam cleaning or a dry method?

The method used depends on the carpet type and its condition — we'll confirm the approach when we assess the carpet, rather than applying the same method to every fibre type regardless of suitability.
