Deep cleaning · Dublin

Most cleaners clean what they can see.

The oven interior. The grout. Behind the washing machine. The shower screen that's been slowly going opaque for a year. A MirroClean deep clean reaches all of it — not just the surfaces that were already fine.

A standard clean is maintenance. It keeps a tidy home tidy. A deep clean is something different — it's what you book when the maintenance has been skipped, or never properly started.

The kitchen is the honest part of every deep clean. Built-up grease behind the hob, the extractor fan filter that's been clogged for two years, the oven interior that sees heat every day but never a proper scrub. We spend 2–3 hours in the kitchen alone on most visits.

Everything below is the same checklist on every deep clean, whatever the property. You'll know the full scope before the visit is booked, and anything outside it is agreed with you rather than added on the day.

The difference

Regular clean vs deep clean

A regular clean maintains a home that's already at a good baseline. A deep clean is what sets that baseline in the first place.

When to book

Why people book this clean

You're moving out — and the deposit matters.

Our end-of-tenancy deep clean covers everything a Dublin landlord or letting agent checks: oven, extractor fan, grout, inside cupboards, limescale, skirting boards.

You've just moved in — and the previous tenant's version of “clean” isn't yours.

A move-in deep clean means you know exactly where you're starting from. Fresh grout, descaled taps, and an oven you're happy to use on day one.

You want to start a regular plan — properly.

A deep clean as the first visit sets the baseline. Every subsequent bi-weekly or weekly clean stays at a higher standard because there's no built-up grime to work through each time.

A year went by and it shows.

No judgement. Life happens, standards slip. An annual reset clears everything that built up and gives you a clean start.

FAQ

Questions worth asking before you book

How long does a deep clean take?

Most deep cleans take between 4 and 6 hours depending on the size and condition of your home. A studio or one-bedroom typically takes 3–4 hours. A three-bedroom house can take 5–7 hours. We always quote a time estimate before the visit so there are no surprises.

What is the difference between a deep clean and a standard clean?

A standard clean maintains a home that is already tidy — surfaces, floors, bathrooms, and kitchen tops. A deep clean is a full reset: we clean inside appliances, scrub grout, remove limescale from taps and shower screens, clean behind and under furniture, wipe skirting boards and radiators, and address built-up dirt that a regular clean does not reach.

Do I need to prepare anything before the deep clean?

Just clear surfaces and floors of personal items where possible — dishes put away, clothes out of the way. You do not need to pre-clean. That is what we are there for. If we are cleaning inside wardrobes or under furniture we will let you know in advance.

How often should I book a deep clean?

Most homes benefit from a deep clean once or twice a year. Many of our clients book a deep clean as their first visit before starting a regular weekly or bi-weekly plan — so the baseline is set properly from day one. After major events like a renovation or extended absence, a deep clean is also recommended.

Is a deep clean suitable as an end-of-tenancy clean?

Yes, and it is one of the most common reasons clients book us. Our deep cleaning standard covers everything a landlord or letting agent would check: oven, extractor fan, grout, limescale, inside cupboards, skirting boards, and full bathroom polish.

Do you clean inside the oven and fridge?

Yes. Oven cleaning — including racks, door glass, and the interior — is included in every deep clean as standard. Fridge interior cleaning is available on request. Let us know when booking and we will confirm it is included in your visit.

Do you remove limescale from taps and shower screens?

Yes. Limescale removal from chrome taps, showerheads, shower screens, and bath fixtures is part of our standard deep clean. Dublin has moderately hard water, so limescale builds up quickly. We treat and polish these surfaces until they are streak-free and bright.

Will a deep clean set me up for a regular cleaning plan?

That is exactly how most of our regular clients start. A deep clean resets the home to a high baseline, which makes every subsequent standard clean faster, more consistent, and more effective. After a deep clean, a bi-weekly or weekly plan keeps the home at that standard without ever needing another full reset.
